Packed with organic cacao butter, plant oils, and candelilla wax, it stays on in the surf and nourishes your skin while you're at it.

Who is behind SunButter Skincare?

SunButter was founded by two marine biologists with a mission to stop chemical sunscreen and plastic pollution from damaging our oceans. Their formulas are ocean-friendly, skin-safe, and packaged without plastic — made in a solar-powered factory in Australia, with 50% of profits going to planet-protecting causes.

How to use:

This one’s made for action — but application is everything. Here's how to make the most of your SunButter Surf Zinc. Step 1 – Preparation: Make sure your skin is clean and dry before applying. Use before any outdoor activity — surfing, running, hiking, or just a day at the beach. Step 2 – Application: Scoop a generous amount and apply a thick, visible layer to your face and other high-exposure areas like your nose, cheeks, and forehead. Don’t be shy — this is your sun armour. Step 3 – Long-Lasting Protection: Reapply every 2 hours, or more often if you're swimming, sweating, or wiping your skin. Keep that protective barrier strong. Step 4 – Water Resistance: With 2 hours of water resistance, Surf Zinc is designed to stay put during surf sessions, beach swims, or sweaty hikes. Reapply as needed for continued coverage.

Care instructions:

• Wipe the tin threads clean occasionally — salt and sand can make it gritty
